I’m a Philadelphia-based remote session drummer providing organic, live-played MIDI drum tracks for artists, bands, and producers who want the feel of a real drummer with the flexibility that MIDI offers. I love space in a track, leaving the music room to breathe. I'm a song drummer.

Hello, my name is Martin Evans. Originally from the UK but now based out of Philly, I've been lucky enough during my session career to work with artists such as Tim Renwick, Steve Donnelly, Henry Louris, Iain Hornal, Phil Keaggy, and Mike Waldron, among others. I've also recorded on tracks produced by Ruslan Sirota and Stephen Paul.

I’ve been playing for over thirty years and made the switch to remote sessions in 2020 along with the rest of the world. Rooted in rock and pop but comfortable across a wide range of genres, I’ve worked everywhere from Americana and indie to hard rock, prog, and the darker end of post-punk and gothic rock.

I deliver MIDI and multitrack audio pulled from a variety of industry-standard and boutique drum libraries. Turnaround time is usually within two days. Revisions are included, and I'm happy to discuss custom project rates. I also provide light hand percussion if needed (also at no extra charge).
